1. In General, something accomplished, caused, or produced; a result, a consequence. In the physical sciences an effect is a particular phenomenon usually named after its discoverer, e.g., Doppler effect, Compton effect.

2. In Neu Theory, all physical effects are the result of specific interactions between the 7 elementary particles along with their natural accelerations in different configurations.
